How do I submit documents to participate?
To enroll in the program, simply call us or fill out the form: book a consultation or apply. After that, the program coordinator will explain in detail all stages of the enrollment process.
What documents are required for registration?
Completed Application;
References confirming experience working with children (at least two);
Character reference (at least one) — may be provided by former teachers or employers;
A letter in English or Spanish to the host family (Host family letter);
Medical report;
Copy of secondary / higher education diploma with translation into German;
Language certificate confirming proficiency level (if available);
Copy of driver’s license (preferable but not mandatory);
Copy of passport;
Certificate of no criminal record.
Which visa do I need?
For participants of the Au Pair Spain program, a short-term Schengen visa is issued if the stay is up to 3 months, or a national long-term visa if the stay is more than 3 months.
What documents are required to apply for a visa?
A separate set of documents is required for the visa, the list of which will be provided by a representative of IEC.
Do I need to have an interview with the consul?
Yes, program participants attend an interview at the embassy to obtain a visa.
What foreign passport do you need to have on hand?
According to the program participation agreement, the participant must provide IEC with a valid international passport no later than 1 (one) month before the earliest possible program start date.
In turn, the participant must have a passport valid for travel abroad at least two months before the earliest program start date.
