Internship in the USA: a step toward professional success
Participants in the internship programs in the USA can be students and graduates aged from 18. If the specialty in which an internship is planned does not correspond to the education obtained, at least 5 years of work experience is required. All program participants must have a good command of English. Skills and knowledge of professional terminology are especially important.
Possible fields of internships: business management, accounting, architecture, finance, tourism and hospitality, media and communications, engineering, marketing, trade and others.
Recruitment for the program is open year-round; however, it is advisable to submit documents 4–6 months before the program start date.
Depending on the participant’s skills and preferences, the program is divided into the following options:
1. Option self-arranged: participants independently search for an employer in the USA. After finding an employer and providing the Training Plan, registration for the program and verification of the internship take place. The employer and the proposed internship must meet all the requirements and conditions of the program.
Internship Program — for students in their second to fifth years and young specialists (those who received their diploma no more than 1 year ago). Participant age: from 18 to 27 years. Program duration — from 1 to 12 months.
Practical Training — for those who have already completed higher education. The participant must be a qualified specialist with at least 1 year of work experience. If they wish to participate in the program in a specialty that does not correspond to their education, work experience in the desired internship field must be at least 5 years. Participant age: from 20 to 35 years. Program duration — from 1 to 18 months. Participation in the internship program in the USA will allow you to gain advanced experience, improve your knowledge of English terminology related to your profession, and become familiar with American business practices and methods of doing business.
2. Option placement option: the sponsor offers a single internship placement. Program duration from 1 to 18 months. Participants in the program must have the appropriate education and/or professional experience in the desired internship field.
