How to submit documents for participation?

To apply for the program, just call us or fill out the form: appointment for consultation or registration. After that, the program coordinator will explain all stages of the registration process in detail.

What set of documents is required for registration?

Completed questionnaire;
Recommendations confirming experience working with children (at least 2);
Reference (at least 1) — can be provided by former teachers or employers;
Interview in English with a representative of the IEC;
Passing a psychological test (after registration on the sponsor’s website);
Letter in English to the host family (Host Family letter);
Copy of driver’s licenses (both local and international);
Copy of the diploma of secondary and higher education, if available;
Medical report;
Certificate of no criminal record;
Copy of the passport;
Photo collage and photographs, as well as a video (preferably uploaded to the sponsor’s website).

What visa do I need?

For participants of the Au Pair USA program, a J-1 visa is issued.

What documents are needed to apply for a visa?

A separate package of documents is required for the visa, part of which is sent by courier from the program sponsor. A more detailed list will be provided by your IEC representative.

Do I need to have an interview with the consul?

Yes, program participants undergo interviews at the embassy to obtain a J-1 visa. It is important to prepare for it. Consult with your IEC representative; they will provide the necessary information.

What kind of passport do I need to have?

According to the participation agreement in the program, the participant must provide the IEC with a valid foreign passport no later than 1 (one) month before the earliest possible start date of the program. In turn, the participant must have a passport valid for international travel at least two months before the earliest start date of the program.
