Teach in Thailand
Learn the basics of teaching English and get a recognized TEFL certificate! Training is available in Chiang Mai and internships in one of Thailand’s schools.
What level of English is required to participate in the program?
To participate in the program, the language level of participants must be at least Advanced. Participants must be able to communicate freely in English on almost any topic.
Will I need to provide a certificate confirming my language skills?
No, participants can take the IELTS test upon arrival in Chiang Mai.
Will someone meet me at the airport?
No, but the language school is only 5 km from the airport, and a taxi from the school or residence will cost only $6.
Where will I live while working?
The sponsor helps in finding accommodation. Participants have the option to live with a family or in a student residence.
Is it necessary to know Thai?
Knowledge of the Thai language is NOT REQUIRED.
Is it mandatory to have a pedagogical education?
Pedagogical education is NOT required.
Can I participate in the program without a higher education?
Yes.
Will you find me an employer?
The program sponsor will assist in finding job vacancies for employment in Thailand, but this is NOT included in the services under the contract.
