Visa
Participants in the program travel to Thailand as tourists. For many nationalities, a visa is not required for tourism stays of up to 30 days, which is typically sufficient to complete a TEFL course. If needed, this stay can often be extended by an additional 30 days.
To legally work in Thailand, a Business Visa (Type B) is required. This visa allows participants to apply for a work permit, which is mandatory for all foreign nationals. In most cases, the employer assists with the visa application process.
