What level of English and Spanish is required to participate in the program?
Knowledge of English (Upper Intermediate level) is required; basic knowledge of Spanish is welcomed.
How to pay for the program?
After signing the contract, the IEC will charge an enrollment fee of €300 within 7 calendar days. The second part of the program cost is paid within 14 calendar days after the program sponsor registers the participant for the course and the participant confirms the offer.
Where do participants live?
The program sponsor helps the participant find accommodation. It will be necessary to pay for signing a contract with the landlord (€110-€150), for accommodation itself (starting from €300 per month), as well as make a deposit (€150).
How are the courses evaluated?
The courses of the Working experience in Spain program are evaluated according to the ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System) system — the so-called “European Credit Transfer System.” This is a universal system for measuring a student’s workload when mastering an educational program or individual course. My friend and I are going together; can we work in the same city?
This option is possible, but the sponsor does not guarantee it. When applying, you will need to indicate the name and surname of your friend you are traveling with.
What is the minimum salary?
The starting salary is approximately 300 EUR/month + bonuses. After three months, the salary usually increases.
When can I fly to Spain?
You can only fly to the country after obtaining a visa.
