How to submit documents for participation?
To apply for the program, just call us or fill out the form: appointment for consultation or registration. After that, the program coordinator will explain all stages of the registration process in detail.
What set of documents is required for registration?
Completed questionnaire;
Recommendations confirming experience working with children (at least two);
Reference (at least one) — can be provided by former teachers or employers;
Letter in German to the host family (Host family letter);
Medical report;
Copy of the diploma of secondary/higher education with translation into German;
Language certificate confirming the level of German;
Copy of the driver’s license (preferably but not mandatory);
Copy of the passport;
Certificate of no criminal record.
What visa do I need?
For participants of the Au Pair Germany program, a national German visa is issued (for stays in the country for more than 3 months).
What documents are needed to apply for a visa?
A separate package of documents is required for the visa, the list of which will be provided by the IEC representative.
Do I need to have an interview with the consul?
Yes, program participants undergo interviews at the embassy to obtain a visa.
What kind of passport do I need to have?
According to the participation agreement in the program, the participant must provide the IEC with a valid foreign passport no later than 1 (one) month before the earliest possible start date of the program. In turn, the participant must have a passport valid for international travel at least two months before the earliest start date of the program.
