How do I submit my documents to participate?

To enroll in the program, just call us or fill out the form — book a consultation or submit your application. After that, a program coordinator will walk you through every step of the enrollment process in detail.

What documents do I need to register?

Completed application form
Copy of passport
Copy of medical insurance
Resume (CV) in French (Word format)
Motivation letter in French
Copy of student ID with translation into French (may be requested by the embassy)
Copy of ISIC card (if available, for the embassy)
Proof of funds (approx. — at least €1,000) — required for the embassy
Proof of French language proficiency

When should I submit my application?

You should submit your program documents at least 3–6 months before your desired start date.

What visa do I need to participate in the program?

You’ll need to apply for a long-term visa for the internship if it lasts more than 3 months, or for a short-term visa for an internship if it lasts up to 3 months.

What is a Training Plan / Convention de Stage?

This is your main document: the internship agreement you need to complete to take part in an internship in France and obtain the necessary visa. The agreement is prepared after you secure an internship placement and must be signed by three parties — the host company, you, and your university.

What kind of passport do I need?

Under the participation agreement, the participant must provide IEC with a valid passport no later than 1 (one) month before the earliest possible program start date. The participant must, in turn, have a passport valid for travel abroad at least two months before the earliest program start date.
