What level of English is required to participate in the program?

To participate in the program, participants’ language level must be at least Upper Intermediate. A participant must be able to communicate freely in English on almost any topic.

Will it be necessary to provide a certificate proving language proficiency?

Yes, IELTS or TOEFL.

In which fields are internships available?

Internships are available in more than 15 fields, including:
marketing, business, graphic design, HR, engineering, IT, architecture, sports, journalism, veterinary medicine, logistics, fashion and others.

Is the internship paid?

No, the internship is unpaid, but you will gain real international experience, access to mentorship, participation in real projects, and valuable recommendations from Australian specialists.

Can I participate if I graduated from university more than 12 years ago?

Unfortunately, this program is intended exclusively for recent graduates — no later than 12 months from the date of graduation.

Do I need to have an interview with the employer?

Yes. After reviewing your profile, the employer may schedule an interview. This is a normal part of the selection process.

Is there a list of open vacancies?

Yes, there is. Moreover, after receiving your resume and profile, the program sponsor sends it directly to potential employers in accordance with your skills and interests.

Is it possible to combine an internship with another job?

No. The 407 visa, under which participation is arranged, is tied to a specific internship and employer, and does not allow working under other contracts.

Do I need medical insurance?

Yes. This is a mandatory requirement for obtaining a visa and participating in the program. The insurance is arranged by the sponsor.

Where does the internship take place?

You can undertake an internship in major Australian cities — Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide and others. Placement depends on the vacancies and your area of training.

Will they meet me at the airport?

Participants will be met at the airport for an additional fee.

Will I have time to travel?

Yes, there will be. Participants are given 4 weeks to travel around Australia.

Can I participate in the program if I don’t have any work experience?

Yes.

When should I apply to the program?

The Professional Internship program is year-round, but documents must be submitted 3-4 months before the desired start date.

How many hours per week will the internship be?

Participants work at least 30 hours per week.

Where will I live while working?

The sponsor helps with housing arrangements.
Participants have the option to live with a host family or in a student residence.
