What level of English is required to participate in the program?
To participate in the program, the language level of participants must be at least Upper Intermediate. Participants must be able to communicate freely in English on almost any topic.
Will I need to provide a certificate confirming my language skills?
Yes, IELTS or TOEFL.
Can I participate if I graduated from university more than two years ago?
Unfortunately, no. This program is only for recent university graduates (within 12 months at the time of visa application).
Will someone meet me at the airport?
Participants will be met at the airport for an additional fee.
Will I have time for travel?
Yes, there will be. Participants are given 4 weeks to travel around Australia.
Can I participate for less than 5 months?
No, participation for less than 5 months is not possible.
Can I participate if I have no education in event management, marketing, or human resources?
No. The Stipend Internship in Australia program is only for those with education in event management, marketing, or HR. Our program — Professional Internship in Australia — will suit you.
Can I participate without work experience?
Unfortunately, no. Work experience is one of the requirements of the program sponsor. The program that does not require work experience is — Professional Internship in Australia.
How to pay for the program?
After signing the contract, the IEC fee of $600 AUD must be paid within 7 calendar days.
After confirming the internship placement, the participant makes a second payment for the program.
When to apply for the program?
The Stipend Internship in Australia program is year-round, but documents must be submitted 3-4 months before the desired start date.
Will I need to go through an interview with the employer?
The sponsor selects a place for the internship, for which a Skype interview will be necessary.
Is there a list of open vacancies?
Yes, there is. Moreover, after receiving the participant’s profile, the program sponsor sends it to potential employers.
How many hours per week will the internship be?
Participants, on average, work 30-40 hours a week.
Where will I live while working?
The sponsor helps in finding accommodation. Participants have the option to live with a family or in a student residence.
