Acting Mastery Camp (Acting Camp)

Come to Hollywood, where you can make your acting dreams come true at a summer acting camp. The 3-week program takes place on the picturesque campus of California State University (Fullerton). It is the best place to work on your acting style alongside expert instructors from Hollywood. You will study with students from around the world and gain valuable skills in diction, articulation, character analysis, improvisation, character development, and learn how to respond to other actors’ actions on stage. The program includes daily rehearsals, excursions to Hollywood and Universal Studios, backstage tours at a local theater, and attendance at two theatrical rehearsals at a Los Angeles theater. Day by day your vocabulary will grow, and your spoken English skills will improve during lessons with American teachers. Upon completion of the program there will be a final theatrical performance that will be recorded on camera. A DVD will be provided at the end of the program.

California Surf Camp (California Surf Camp)

Surf Camp is located in one of the most expensive and most beautiful areas of California — Orange County, the scenic part of the California coastline. It is a kind of home for surfers from all over the world. The camp is situated on the campus of California State University in Fullerton. Founded in 1957, this university subsequently became the largest university in California. The beautiful campus stretches across the thriving, lively city of Fullerton in northern Orange County. It is about 25 miles to downtown Los Angeles. Surfing lessons take place at Huntington Beach, also known as Surf City USA. This beach has gained worldwide fame in the surfing world, as it is here that all the competitions in this sport are held. The 9-mile-long beach features the legendary pier and excellent conditions for surfing. Every day professional experts will conduct lessons, as a result of which the participants will be able to acquire skills in California’s main sport. The program also includes exciting excursions to Santa Monica, Hollywood, Beverly Hills, and Venice Beach.

Basketball Camp (Basketball Camp)

Since basketball began in America in the 1800s, the popularity of the game has grown enormously. The sport is now one of the most famous worldwide, as evidenced by global stars Yao Ming and Pau Gasol. This 3-week program at FLS Fisher College combines daily basketball training with English language lessons. Participants train under the supervision of college coaches. Every day you will practice shooting, work on defense and offense both individually and as a team. Local students can also participate in the program, allowing you to meet Americans while playing. Boston is the home of the famous Boston Celtics, who have won NBA championships multiple times. The program includes tours of the stadium where the Celtics train, a sports museum, and many other excursions that will tell you about the city’s history.

Discover California (Discover California)

TOEFL/SAT Prep Camp (TOEFL/SAT Prep Camp)

International high school graduates must go through a large number of challenges before entering an American college. Such challenges include fluency in English, good scores on international exams, and an understanding of the American education system. The TOEFL/SAT preparation camp is designed to provide students with the necessary support in all these areas. This program is specifically designed for high school graduates and includes a combination of lessons, workshops, and university visits, which helps prepare students for their further success in college admissions. As part of the program, seminars will also be held on topics such as how to choose the most suitable college, how to write an admissions essay, how to prepare for an admissions interview, and others. Each student will be able to develop their speaking skills during the general English class. The program includes a TOEFL or SAT preparation lesson (depending on the participant’s choice).
