This program prepares participants to create their own short film. Instructors and teachers who have worked on Hollywood productions, including projects with George Lucas and Ray Liotta, work with the students. Residents of Hollywood teach students how to write a script and visualize it graphically. Students will acquire basic camera skills during the course. After filming, students are assisted in editing and adding special effects to their film. Upon completion, the finished film is screened for all other students. Program participants also visit world-famous film studios and other amazing attractions related to show business. English courses take place on the campus of California State University, Fullerton. The campus features a modern residence hall and cozy cafeterias. The program includes 18 English lessons per week. At the student’s request, English lessons can be replaced with an additional course in the history of cinematography.
