Chile: volunteering with purpose
IEC offers 6 volunteer projects in Chile: farm work, social work, elderly care, teaching English, environmental conservation, and helping to build schools.
Volunteer projects are offered in Chilean cities such as Coihueco and Santiago.
The program is designed for those who want to:
Brush up on your foreign language skills
Travel and experience the culture and traditions of another country
Live like a local and soak up the atmosphere
Gain experience and skills that will help in future employment
Make new connections: meet like-minded people and volunteers from around the world — intercultural exchange!

Requirements
- At least 18 years old.
- Spanish level: at least A2
- You must have travel insurance for the entire stay in Chile.
Programs have fixed dates. Check the start date of your chosen program with your IEC coordinator. Program duration ranges from 1 week to 3 years, depending on the program. Submit your documents 4–6 months before the program start date.
