Calculator for participants of the Work and Travel USA program

The calculator is an attempt to give a correct answer to the question “How much can a W&T participant earn over the summer?” The purpose of the form is not to calculate the participant’s real final income, the task is only to inform our participants as fully as possible about what can await them in the USA. All figures presented in the table are for reference and are based on surveys of participants from previous years and legal restrictions. We do not recommend basing your expectations solely on the figures that will be obtained as a result of the calculation, since not all factors can be taken into account in this form: English level, competition in the labor market, the economic situation in the United States, unforeseen circumstances, overtime allowance, tips, tax refunds, housing deposit, etc. The official position is that the salary of the participant, as a rule, allows you to cover most of the costs of the program.
