Chile: volunteering that makes a difference
IEC offers 6 volunteer projects in Chile: farm work, social work, elderly care, English language teaching, environmental protection and assistance in school construction.
Volunteer projects are offered in such Chilean cities as Koyueko and Santiago.
The program is designed for those who wish to:
“Brush up on” foreign language skills
Travel and become acquainted with the culture and traditions of another country
Live like a local and fully experience the local atmosphere
Experience and skills that will be useful for future successful employment
New acquaintances: like-minded people and volunteers from different corners of the world = intercultural exchange!
Why do I need this
- Registration for the program and document processing.
- Selection of a volunteer project.

Requirements
- Minimum age: 18 years.
- Spanish language level: at least A2
- You must have travel insurance for the entire period of your stay in Chile.
Programs have fixed dates. Check the start date of the selected program with the IEC coordinator. Program duration — from 1 week to 3 years, depending on the chosen program. Document submission — 4-6 months before the program start date.
