Au Pair in France
Spend a year in France caring for children, learning French, and immersing yourself in the cultural atmosphere.
Au Pair France: culture and language from the inside
The Au Pair France program is aimed at participants aged 18-29, which offers the opportunity to become part of a French family for 12 months. Participants in the program care for children and also perform light household work. As part of the program participants may attend French language courses in France. However, the cost of Au Pair courses is paid by the participant herself. The cost of courses, depending on the region of the country, is around EUR 100 — 140 and above per month. To take part in the program one must not only love children but also have confirmed experience working with children. Knowledge of French at a level no lower than Intermediate is mandatory. Host families are located in the South of France or in Paris and its suburbs. For working in the South of France it is desirable to have an international driver’s license (a significant bonus when searching for a family).
