One thing shocked me. One day I served a customer and learned from him that the world’s most famous hospital Mayo was in our next city, and he was a doctor in this hospital. My God, I am a medical student. I was very excited to hear this news. I went to visit this hospital and fulfilled my dream.

I have been drawn to Latin America since childhood; it was my interest in this region that prompted me to learn Spanish and Portuguese. When I graduated from university, I decided that I wanted to connect my life with tourism. At IEC, they found the perfect program for me—an internship in Mexico, specifically in the hospitality sector. In one and a half months, I gathered all the necessary documents and set off on my journey! I interned at one of the Spanish hotel chains, Bahia Principe, where I worked in almost all the hotel departments, met wonderful people, and learned even more languages. This experience awakened in me an even greater desire to explore the world and the cultures of other countries. I believe that the best investment a person can make for themselves is in their education and in experiences that will provide a wealth of positive emotions, knowledge, and connections with people from different cultures.
