How to submit documents for participation?
To apply for the program, just call us or fill out the form: appointment for consultation or registration. After that, the program coordinator will explain all stages of the registration process in detail.
What set of documents is required for registration?
Completed questionnaire
Passport photo
Copy of the passport
Student status confirmation
Certificate of no criminal record and translation into English, issued no later than 6 months ago
Video about oneself (recommended)
Medical certificate
Interview in English with a representative of the IEC.
When should I submit documents for participation?
Since this is a summer program, it is advisable to submit documents in September/October, but no later than February/March.
What is the DS-2019 form?
This is an extremely valuable form based on which you can submit documents for a J-1 visa. This A4 document can only be issued by a very small number of organizations — program sponsors.
What is the J-1 visa?
This visa allows you to work legally in the USA during the summer holidays.
What kind of passport do I need to have?
The participant must obtain a foreign passport no later than February 1 of the year of participation in the program. Important: despite various rumors, valid foreign passports (i.e., without biometric data) are valid; the American embassy accepts them and will continue to accept them until they expire.
