Camp in USA: reviews
Camp in USA
Spend the summer in the USA working at children’s camps. Help organize fun daily activities for children, improve your English, and enjoy nature. Choose a role as a camp counselor or support staff!
«I work in the state of Connecticut, near the town of Chester. The camp is called Camp Hazen YMCA. I absolutely love it here, as the climate doesn’t differ much from Russia. I also enjoy the proximity to the ocean, but at the same time there are woods, hills, and nature — a very nice place to spend time. The work is wonderful! My duties include working as a counselor, as well as being a lifeguard and a water sports instructor — swimming, kayaking, windsurfing, paddleboarding, canoeing. We also have other water activities — for example, jumping on water trampolines and inflatable water mats. There is also sailing (yachting) here; I am still in the process of learning it myself, so I don’t teach yachting yet — it’s very difficult and carries a lot of responsibility. In addition, I also work as a lifeguard, meaning someone else conducts the lesson while I watch the children. Counselors live with the children, accompany them everywhere, take them to the dining hall, and play various games in their free time…»
