How well do you need to know the language?
An Intermediate level or higher is required; preference will be given to participants with better language proficiency.
Do I need to provide a document confirming my level of English?
Of course, an IELTS certificate is required (a score of at least 6).
If I have completed my studies at a university, can I become a participant in the program?
No, this program is for those who are still studying. If university education was completed more than a year before the start of the internship, participation is not possible.
Will they meet me at the airport?
This service is provided only for an additional fee.
How is payment made?
The initial fee must be paid within 7 (seven) calendar days from the date of signing the internship agreement. The second installment is paid after the internship placement has been confirmed.
When does the program start, and what are the deadlines for submitting documents to participate?
This program is year-round, but it takes 3…4 months to complete all the paperwork. Therefore, the application must be submitted at least three months before the intended start date.
Will there be an interview with the employer?
No, all matters are handled by IEC.
Is there a list of available job openings?
After the application to participate has been submitted, the internship placement is chosen by the program sponsor. There is no list of vacancies open to participants.
How many working hours per week does the internship involve?
It depends on the type of work, but on average it adds up to 30 working hours per week.
Are program participants provided with housing, or do they need to arrange it themselves?
Participants can live with a host family or on a student campus. The program sponsor helps find housing.
