What is volunteering?
Volunteering or volunteer work is socially useful work carried out voluntarily without expecting monetary compensation.
How much will I earn?
Volunteering is unpaid.
What language skills are necessary to participate in this program?
Participants must know English at a conversational level; knowledge of Portuguese is not required but will be a great plus.
When to submit documents for the program?
The volunteer program in Brazil is year-round; documents must be submitted at least 2-3 months before the desired start date.
How to pay for the program?
After signing the contract, the enrollment fee of $300 must be paid at the Center within 7 calendar days.
The second part of the program is paid after the participant is fully registered in the sponsor’s system.
Is it necessary to be a student to participate in the volunteer project?
No, we invite everyone who is 18 years old to participate in our volunteer program. Many projects do not require special knowledge or previous experience; however, you must have the ability to adapt to another culture and be ready to contribute to a good cause.
How many working hours will I have and will there be weekends?
Volunteers work from 2 to 6 hours a day.
Where will I live?
Volunteers usually live in a volunteer house in the city center or with families. Prices for accommodation start from $150 per month.
Can I participate in projects together with my friends?
When applying to participate, you will need to provide the name and surname of your friend who is traveling with you, but the sponsor cannot guarantee that they will be placed in the same project.
How long can I participate?
The volunteer project usually lasts 3 months.
