Work Experience in Spain: work and study in Spain
The Work Experience in Spain program combines work, study, leisure and travel in the most interesting and attractive cities and resorts of Spain. Participants choose their own field of work and, accordingly, their area of study. There are two program options.
The first option allows participants to work for 4 to 6 months in hotels in various regions of Spain, for example in Barcelona, Madrid, Granada, Marbella, on the Costa del Sol, the Costa Brava, Mallorca, and the Canary Islands. The main departments where it is possible to get a job are: reception, kitchen, bar and restaurant.
The program price includes English-language training in subjects related to tourism and hotel management.
Training is conducted on-site for 2 months, after which participants begin working and finish the course remotely. After reviewing participants’ preferences, the host organization selects the workplace.
Upon completion of the program, all participants receive an appropriate certificate.

Requirements
- Age from 18 to 35 years
- Knowledge of English is required (Upper Intermediate level),
- A basic level of Spanish is welcome.
- For those wishing to obtain Post Graduate — it is necessary to have a bachelor’s degree or an HND (Higher National Diploma) or an equivalent.
- For those wishing to obtain Master Degree, it is necessary to have a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent.
Programs have fixed dates. Confirm the start date of the selected program with the IEC coordinator. The program duration — from 1 week to 3 years, depending on the chosen program. Submit documents 4-6 months before the program start date.
