Volunteering in Costa Rica: help nature and find like-minded people
Volunteer programs in Costa Rica — not just a vacation, but a true adventure where you can help and not get bored. Forget boring tours — here every day brings new tasks and unexpected encounters with local life.
Physical education with a twist — teach children to jump, run and laugh even without a gym or exercise equipment. You’ll find open playgrounds, a couple of balls and a bunch of creative ideas to prove that sport is fun, even if you’re surrounded only by nature and the wind.
Farm life, ‘hands-in-the-dirt’ style — look after horses and cows, water coffee plantations and harvest avocados. Instead of boring city routines — plowing, the smell of fresh soil and real rural bustle with local festivals and markets.
Preschool magic — play, sing and create with little ones from six months to six years old. It’s not just childcare, but a daily show of laughter, discoveries and small victories that will make you an expert in ‘children’s happiness’ and ‘parental patience’.
Languages — they’re not boring lessons, but little adventures. Teach English, French, German or even Chinese in a playful way, creating skits and fun games. If you think learning languages is boring — we’re ready to change your mind!
Construction and landscaping — forget about the office and the hammer drill! Here you’re hands-on: you repair schools, create green corners and help make the village more beautiful and cozy. You can also take part in bio-gardening and river cleanups — because good deeds are loved not only by people but also by nature.
The marine park is your chance to become a superhero for sea turtles, sharks and birds. Feed them, care for them, help them recover and return to the ocean. No boring lectures — just hands-on interaction with real marine creatures.
