Thousands of volunteers come each year to South Africa to participate in one of many volunteer projects. The Volunteer Program in South Africa offers a wide variety of projects. Volunteers can choose the area they would like to work in: education (preschool and school), environmental protection, animal rescue, social sphere, medicine, sports camps, community organizations. Thanks to volunteers, African children and students receive a lot of new and interesting information, and environmental protection programs help preserve the unique wildlife of the country.
Duration of volunteer programs: from 2 to 12 weeks.

Price varies depending on the program option
- Selection of a suitable volunteer program
- Transfer from the airport to the sponsor
- Orientation session before the volunteer program, accommodation during this period
- Transfer from the sponsor to the family or house for volunteers, where the participant will live
- Accommodation with a family and meals during the program
- Assistance in reserving tours and excursions
- Participant registration and informational support
- Food during orientation session
- Accommodation in the volunteer house (an additional $20/night is required, breakfast and dinner on working days are included)
- Expenses for excursions, tours, and evening activities
- Air tickets
- Transfer to the airport at the end of the program
- Visa and insurance arrangement

Requirements
- Participation is possible from 18 years old
- English language level: Intermediate level.
Programs have fixed dates. Please check the start date of the selected program with the IEC coordinator. Program duration – from 1 week to 3 years, depending on the selected program. The documents should be submitted 4-6 months before the program start date.
