Hospitality work in Argentina

The country of bright sunshine and cheerful people is waiting for you. Go to Argentina to gain professional skills while studying and improving your Spanish language. This program is for young people aged 18 to 30 who want to “improve” their Spanish language skills and live like a local to experience the atmosphere of the environment. Most job positions are offered in Buenos Aires, in hostels, hotels, bars, and restaurants. Main positions include reception work, housekeeping, waitstaff, baristas, and cashiers in bars or restaurants. Average workload per week: 30 hours. Work in Argentina is unpaid.

The employer provides accommodation and meals (mainly just breakfast). There is an opportunity to attend Spanish language courses, participate in student and sports events, and go on country tours (for an additional fee).

Why would I do that

The program will help you get acquainted with Argentine culture, practice your Spanish, and gain work experience. Spanish, a very beautiful and not too difficult language, is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world, with Spanish-speaking populations living in 58 countries, including Argentina, Spain, Mexico, and many countries in South America. Even by participating in a short 3-4 month program, you can truly immerse yourself in local life and culture. Working in Argentina will help you make useful contacts that may come in handy in the future.
