Internship in the UK – your choice!
Are you about to start your internship or want to take a professional internship? Have you thought about going to intern in one of the European countries, but never acted on it?
Then you should come to us! The International Exchange Center offers internship programs in the UK for students and recent university graduates.
There are two options for the program:
The first option: Self Arranged, where the participant is responsible for finding their own internship position.
Requirements for the internship:
— Duration of the internship from 1 to 6 months (minimum 25 hours per week).
— Internships cannot be in the following fields: Hospitality, Healthcare/Medicine.
— The internship can be unpaid and must comply with UK regulations for volunteering. In most cases, if the employer does not pay for the internship, they provide bonuses to the intern, such as covering travel expenses to work (https://www.gov.uk/volunteering).
— A special internship program must be prepared for the participant, during which they will carry out additional tasks from the employer that are not part of the daily duties of a regular employee.
— The responsibilities during the internship must be varied and clearly explained to the participant. The participant must have a plan for the internship process.
— The participant must have a supervisor who will coordinate their internship.
— The company must be registered in the UK Companies House for at least one year.

The second option: Placed, where the program sponsor finds the internship position.
The program sponsor selects a position for an unpaid internship from 1 to 6 months.
Popular fields for internships include architecture, finance, law, IT, human resources, PR, and advertising.
